DRIFTING AWAY...

Yup...the summer got to me ! Between working and car problems and kid#1 home for the summer I just lost track of time and summer went into warp speed mode !
Not much of a vacation...as the 11YO car had some interesting things happen ie: a broken right axle...yes..it just snaped right in half ! My mechanic said he'd never seen anything like it and neither had the old guys who help him from time to time. My car has never been in any accident, so this is even stranger !
Needless to say, we didn't go too far on my "vacation", unless you count taking the kid back to school at the end of August. I had to rent a car, book a hotel room for one night, stay in a dorm room one night and travel back in one day. Wheeeeeeee !

My kid took the digital camera back to school, so I decided to throw all caution to the wind and buy a camera for myself. I bought a SONY Cybershot, so now I have no excuses to fill up the blog with pictures. I promise not to go overboard !

Besides, I got my Ravelry invite last week, so I have to start taking pictures of projects, stash , UFOs etc... I truly think this will be the pitchfork in the butt, that I need to jump start this old mind into creating again. I have made this statement before, but as I have never actually recorded any of this info. online, it was a safe statement.

So, hopefully Saturday will be the Ravelry entry day. Looking forward to it !
